The car’s engine produces 602 BHP, with both direct fuel injection and multi point injection which produces 650 N of torque at 6500 rpm, catapulting the car from 0-60 mph in an eye watering 3.2 seconds, and 0-120mph in just 9.9 seconds. Lamborghini Huracan Hire Models
The Lamborghini Huracan hire car we own was designed by Filippo Perini and first produced in 2013 with 76 units leaving the factory Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, however it was not until 2014 when they became available in right hand drive to the UK. Within a month of the car being announced over 700 units had already been sold prior to production. In the following few years an average of 2500 units were and still are being produced and sold worldwide. The Huracan replaced the Lamborghini Gallardo. The LP 610-4 as its sometimes known is due to the car having 610 metric horsepower and 4 wheel drive. There is also a LP580-2 with slightly less power and only rear wheel drive. LP stands for "Longitudinale Posteriore", which refers to the longitudinal mid-rear engine position which most Lamborghinis have. The previous Gallardo had the LP 540 and LP560 versions.
Currently there are 7 versions of the Huracan for road use, with 2 more for motorsport (Lamborghini Huracan LP 620-2 Super Trofeo and the Lamborghini Huracan GT) and a special Huracan LP 610-4 Polizia which is specially adapted and produced for the Italian Police. You can get he Lamborghini Huracan Coupe, Lamborghini Huracan Spyder and the limited edition Avio of which there are only 250 ever made. More recently the LP 580-2 was released in coupe and spyder form which is a slightly cheaper model having less power and just 2 wheel drive. There is also the coupe and spyder versions of the slight lighter weight LP640-4 Performante."
