Supercar Hire Autumn Drives
Autumn is the perfect time to have a supercar hire drive from London. As the summer drifts away, we look at some great Autumn routes from around the capital.
Autumn Supercar Hire Drives
We might be a bit partisan, but we can think of few experiences more thrilling than slipping behind the wheel of a supercar. The feeling of power mixed with some timeless and stunning designs make our Lamborghinis, Aston Martins and 911s the ideal partner to help create an unforgettable sense of excitement and adventure. Add a sprinkle of Autumn magic into the mix and you will have the time of your life, having fun and exploring the best of Britain at the most colourful time of year.
London is an ideal base and will act as a great starting point to find some of the most stunning roads the UK has to offer. First decide if you want the elegance and comfort of a grand tourer like the Aston Martin Vantage, or Bentley Continental, or something a bit spicy like the Lamborghini Huracan or 911 Coupe.
Autumn is arguably the best season to experience a supercar hire. The UK becomes a sea of colour with trees turning their autumn palettes and with hedgerows dotted with blackberries and rosehips, there is a flash of colour everywhere. The autumn morning mist will hang over fields and lakes adding its own atmosphere and as the day goes on and the lower sun will cast long golden shadows across the landscape making every view look cinematic and glorious. The September and October crisp air adds a refreshing edge, making each stop at a village pub or farm shop for a cheeky drink feel all the more inviting.
Great Ideas for Autumn Drives
Surrey Hills
Within just an hour or two of leaving London, you will be driving through the rolling hills of the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). There are so many glorious quiet loans to explore and ancient beech woodland which will look amazing. Places to look out for? Make your way to from Box Hill to Leith Hill, or drop into the Denbies Wine Estate.
Cotswolds
Head west and the winding roads of the Cotswolds await, through picture-perfect stone villages all framed by autumn trees. The perfect backdrop for a supercar hire adventure, the Cotswolds never fails to deliver. We recommend the sunset from Broadway Tower in golden hour - truly amazing. You must also visit Bourton-on-the-Water and Snowshill.
Lake District
If you’re new to the UK, then the lakes are a must. We insist you take a supercar from Keswick to Windermere and experience the rolling hills, mirror-like lakes and the golden woodland. To make the most of it, we recommend you get up early in the morning, take coffee, and avoid annoying traffic so you can catch the mist rising off the lakes. Take the opportunity to visit local highlights such as Grasmere village, home of Wordsworth, Rydal Water where you can find some great walks and Ambleside where you can find some great shopping.

Loch Lomond
Cairngorms National Park
If you have the time to head up into Scotland, you will not be disappointed. Here you will find forests, moody heather, and rust coloured hills. The Cairngorms National Park also has the old Military Road to enjoy, from Grantown-on-Spey to Braemar. We suggest a quick trip to Loch Morlich, or even the royal Balmoral Castle which will open if the royals are elsewhere.
Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond is absolutely worth the drive, especially the A82 from Lomond to Glencoe. This is a beautiful road to drive a supercar all year, but autumn is that bit better with the dramatic colours changing daily. Make your way to the Trossachs, Rannoch Moor and of course, Glencoe Valley.
Eryri (was Snowdonia)
Further west from London is the stunning countryside and dramatic roads of Wales and here you will find the drive from Betws-y-Coed to Beddgelert well worth the journey. You will discover amazing peaks to throw your supercar round, russet hills, and beautiful waterfalls. Plan your trip around the Swallow Falls which looks incredible in autumn, Llyn Gwynant where you can go kayaking and the glorious Aberglaslyn Pass, a must drive in your supercar hire.
Brecon Beacons
The Brecon Beacons will give you the dramatic mountains which are ideal for a scenic drive. You will find historical villages, many castles, and yet more cosy, inviting pubs, making the journey just as much fun as getting to your destination, wherever you choose to end up. Find a hotel to stay and head out in the golden hour for peak (pardon the pun) drama! Llyn y Fan Fach and Carreg Cennen Castle make the perfect Instagram backdrops.

Explore the Brecon Beacons
Of course, the experience is about more than just the roads. A supercar hire for an autumn escape also allows you to indulge in the finer treats along the way. There is huge satisfaction in pulling up outside a historic coaching inn with the sound of your engine turning heads as you step inside for a warming lunch and pint by an open fire. Also, stopping for coffee at one of the UKs many rustic tearooms before heading off in your Lamborghini is something only a few get to experience - why not you?
There is also something liberating about escaping the London traffic in a car that embodies freedom. The UK’s roads tend to be a little quieter in autumn, compared to the busy summer holiday season which makes the driving more enjoyable if you are able to utilise this time. The real bonus of this time, other than the traffic, is the ever changing landscapes keep the journey fresh and engaging. It is a chance not just to drive a supercar hire, but to create memories with the beauty of the season.
It then comes down to if you would rather take a Grand Tourer like the Bentley Continental, or something spicy like the Lamborghini Huracan. Here at PB Supercars we can help advise you if you are unsure of your driving experience or just simple questions such as luggage considerations and parking. We do suggest you contact as soon as possible to make sure you have the maximum opportunity to secure the right car for your adventure.
